Description: Hydrological and hydrodynamic modelling study to determine the recurrence interval floods and flood levels of the Berg River Estuary. The aims of the study were to determine recurrence interval flood hydrographs at the estuary which were routed hydro-dynamically through the estuary to obtain floodlines at the Berg River Estuary. Floods to be investigated included the 20, 50 and 100 year floods, with and without climate change impacts. The flood hydrology for this study was carried out by using probabilistic, deterministic and empirical methods.Publication Date: February 2014
