Health districts and subdistricts in the Western Cape. The health districts are divided into health subdistricts.
Boundaries of health districts coincide with the district and metropolitan municipality boundaries.
The boundaries of subdistricts coincide with the boundaries of the respective local municipalities. The health district of the City of Cape Town it is divided into eight subdistricts, namely Eastern, Khayelitsha, Klipfontein, Mitchells Plain, Northern, Southern, Tygerberg and Western.
The Metro consists of four substructures. (Substructures do not exist in the rest of the province.)
Substructure 1: Health subdistricts Tygerberg and Northern (NTSS)
Substructure 2: Health subdistricts Southern and Western (SWSS)
Substructure 3: Health subdistricts Mitchell’s Plain and Klipfontein (KMPSS)
Substructure 4: Health subdistricts Eastern and Khayelitsha (KESS)
