Service Description: Coastal Managment Line datasets for the West Coast District.

This dataset contains the following layers which should always be viewed together 

A coastal management line indicating the limit of development along the coastline of the West Coast District Municipality, Western Cape Province, South Africa. The CML is aline determined in accordance with section 25 of the National Environmental Management: Integrated Coastal Management Act (Act No. 24 of 2008), in order to demarcate an area within which development will be prohibited or controlled in order to achieve the objects of the Act or coastal management objectives.

The coastal protection zone indicates the landward boundary of the coastal zone within West Coast District Municipality, Western Cape
