The Municipal Demarcation Board (MDB), (as mandated by section 155(3)(b) of the Constitution together with sections 4 and 21 of the Demarcation Act, 1998, which state that the MDB is responsible for the determination and redetermination of municipal boundaries), provided the updated municipality boundaries.
